Wrap small sections of your hair round the wand towards you in an anti-clockwise motion, starting at the root, hold for only a few seconds. Unravel each strand in the opposite direction. Don’t pull your hair down the barrel like a traditional round curling wand and let cool.

To avoid the poodle look, separate each curl. You can do this by using your fingers or brushing through your entire hair with a wide tooth comb.
