Why do I need to use a toner?
Toners can be thought of as primers for the rest of your routine. They wipe away any lingering surface dirt, then balance and hydrate skin to optimize the efficacy of the subsequent steps.
When should I apply this in my skincare routine?
Apply morning and evening after cleansing, with a cotton pad or by spritzing directly on skin. Follow with an essence and/or treatment serums, oils and moisturizers. You can also spritz it on to refresh your skin throughout the day.
Does this product contain alcohol?
No, ELEMIS Soothing Apricot Toner is alcohol-free, making it gentle even for sensitive skin.
I don't have oily skin so won't a toner dry my skin out?
Not at all, today's toner formulations do not dry skin out but rather balance, soothe and hydrate.
Are toners made for cleansing?
Toners are not formulated to deeply cleanse, though many have some cleansing properties. You should cleanse your face with a dedicated product then follow with toner to remove minor residue and balance the skin.
