Slow-growing, organic olive trees, watered naturally and kept small in size to be better nourished by the sun, offering a tiny, precious quantity of ‘green gold’, usually a tenth of what standard olive trees produce. This precious Olive oil is the very same oil ancient women of Crete used for their hair, face and body. And athletes to cleanse and prepare their bodies for the ancient Greek games. The organically farmed tree leaves are hand-picked every winter and dried naturally before being extracted at the KORRES extraction facility. This is the outcome of a KORRES cooperation with Crete’s oldest farming association, the Cooperative of Organic Farmers of Messara .

The residue is turned into organic soil and sent back to our network of organic farmers. A literally no-waste operation.
