About Us

Stargazer was established in 1979 by opening a stall in the Great Gear Market on Kings Road, London. Kings Road was the centre of punk fashion in London at the time, and it was this attitude towards colour and outrage that moulded many of the company’s ideas behind the ranges we produce.

Since our inception, we have been passionate about cruelty-free products and have not tested nor instructed the testing on animals. We are proudly PETA-approved.

In the 1980s, Stargazer began to expand, bringing the colours we created to a broader audience. Then, in the late 1980s, we started slowly producing the products ourselves. We now make the majority of the products in-house. Since launching Stargazer, we have expanded our product range considerably to offer various cosmetics and hair colouring products with a wild, colourful and in-your-face feel.
