Acidic Bonding Curls, with Curl Bond Technology, penetrates the hair cortex to rebuild bonds from the inside & its acidic formula (Citric Acid & Glycine) rebalances hair to a healthy pH (4.5-5.5). The formula is silicone-free for curls that feel hydrated without the weight and is sulfate-free to gently cleanse curly hair. Who is Acidic Bonding Curls for?
For people with curl patterns 3A-4C that have some damage. This may be caused through chemical processes, heat styling and/or environmental factors. The acidic formulation helps bring hair back to a healthy pH level and helps to reduce damage.
What is Bonding Care Complex?
The range has highly effective amounts of bonding activities, such as Citric Acid and Glycine. With particles small enough to penetrate the cortex, it works to rebuild internal hair bonds and give renewed strength to help repair curl strength.
Why is my curly hair damaged?
Curls and coils are more susceptible to damage due to the natural curvature, raised cuticles and difficulty for sebum to travel down strands, leading to dryness. When curls are dry, exposed to chemicals or heat, they may be exposed to more breakage.
How is this different to Acidic Bonding Concentrate?
Acidic Bonding Curls is specially formulated with Shea Butter, Avocado and Coconut Oils to help keep curls feeling hydrated, whilst the Curl Bond Technology penetrates the hair cortex to build bonds and repair curl strength from the inside-out.
